About us
Social-Cultural Association of Jews in Poland exists since 1950. It is the biggest Jewish organization in Poland. The Association's main aims are: integration of Jewish community, activity in the area of the Jewish culture and Yiddish language and building good Polish-Jewish relations. The Board of the Association is located in Warsaw, and there are branches of the Association in 17 Polish cities. The Association also is a publisher of periodical “Dos Yiddishe Vort” (The Yiddish Word) in Polish and Yiddish. It is also a member of the European Jewish Congress and the World Jewish Congress. The Association also works with other Jewish and Polish organizations. The Association owns a holiday – training centre "Srodborowianka" located in Otwock near Warsaw.
